Daddy Daughter Date!

My Princess Madison was in town and Mindy and I decided it would be awesome if she stayed home with Ryler and I took Madi on a Daddy Daughter date. It was SO much fun! We went to her favorite fast food place, KFC, and then we went to see How To Train Your Dragon. Madi fell asleep on my shoulder about 15 minutes into the movie. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. I love my precious princess and she loves her daddy.

Madi's Top Bunk

Madison was so excited to sleep in her new top bunk! And Ryler was more than a little excited to share his room with his big sister who he loves more than anything in the world!

Tourney Time

We weren't able to go to the MWC tournament this year but the NCAA tournament came to us! Thanks to Dad who treated the whole family to one amazing round of March Madness! Another wildly successful and fun boys trip. This time to downtown and the SkyBox!

Went to get Ryler up from a nap and he had started undressing himself but got stuck halfway. Hilarious!

Jump On It!

My brother Justin called me up and said he had a 2 for 1 pass to a place called Jump On It! So we took our boys and our Dad came along and we had the time of our lives! I pretty much videoed the whole thing and this is my first official Flip "movie". What a great night of fun we all had with my dad watching his boys play with their sons. We all went to McDonald's after and stuffed our faces :) A great time was had by all.

I'm Kind of A Big Deal

Madi did a triathlon in San Diego. Wish I could have been there but she tells me it was awesome and she did great!! A triathlon? Seriously?! How amazing is this little girl!

We got a fun new little Flip cam to take videos of Ryler and other random stuff. It's pretty fun and convenient. I tricked it out with some UofU gear to make it mine. My first video shot with it I posted on YouTube and it was a matter of like 3 mouse clicks! So slick and simple. Love it!

Two, Threeee!

So Ryler's figured out the sequence of 1,2,3 and knows that after 3 something fun and exciting always happens. All you have to do is say "1" and he'll finish off the rest with a "do, treeee!" With an extra emphasis of excitement on the TREEE!

Old School Romance

Our ward had a neighborhood Valentine's dinner/dance and the men were issued the challenge to ask their wives to the dance in a creative way. As you can see I arranged Ryler's toys to read "Will You Go To The Dance With Me" and threw in a big hug from Bobby Banana to boot! Mindy came home from work and thought I'd left a huge mess for her to clean up until she realized it was just the first cute gesture her hubby's made in the last 3 years or so ;) I think the whole thing was supposed to be a contest with the other husbands in the neighborhood, which made me want to do it even less, but sadly only 2 other husbands even did anything. Sure made me glad I did!

Hi

Ryler's doing the cutest new thing. Everywhere we go he says hi to everyone who walks by. And not just once but usually like 30 times! Hahaha, hi hi hi hi hi! It's pretty hilarious.

This Kid Is Too Much Fun!

Seriously, this is the only kid I know who's always happy, always laughing, and always making others laugh! He could not be more fun to be around! We'll keep our fingers crossed that our next kid will be half as fun! I think we're due for a challenge because it's been way too fun and enjoyable so far.

Greatest Guy's Night Ever!

I asked my brother Justin if he wanted to go to the Gravity Slashers freestyle motocross event the other night and we decided to turn it into a guys night out. We went to dinner at the most amazing bbq joint with sweet potato fries that are absolutely to die for!! Then we headed downtown for some hardcore high-flying freestyle motocross action! Our seats were amazing and by complete coincidence they were right in front of our other brother Jared! That was about the coolest thing. Then we bailed a little early and caught the late night showing of Avatar in 3D! It was Justin's second time but my first and that movie shook my world! Stunning! And the 3D was truly out of this world! We were going to finish off the evening with some Modern Warfare 2 but the movie got out after 1am so we called it a night. One heck of a sweet guy's night out! Gotta do more of those.

My First Tool Box!

Ryler's going to be spending a lot of time in the garage working on cars if his Ganma and Ganpa have anything to do with it, so we thought we'd better get him started early! I think he's ready!

I Still Love Daddy... Kinda

So Ryler's new thing is to freak out when Mindy leaves for work, when she goes upstairs, when she goes to the bathroom, when I pick him up from my Mom's... Pretty much anytime he's left alone with me he screams and cries uncontrollably. This is obviously not a picture of that but it helps remember the good times when I was his favorite! I'm sure he still sorta loves me, he just has a funny way of showing it ;)

Another Day At The Office

Hahaha, so Tuesday nights at the church have evolved somewhat. I now have Ryler crunching numbers and setting up appointments while I just take it easy. He love sitting up to the desk and banging on the keyboard but he'll freak out if he doesn't have the mouse in his other hand. How does he know how to do all this!?

I Am ELITE!

Ok, if Blogspot has a limit on all caps characters and exclamation points I'm for sure going to be pushing it over the top. I am now the proud owner of a brand new sexy black Xbox 360 Elite!!! I sold my old 360 and used the money to buy the 120GB hard drive Elite! Keeping a very long story short (my thumbs can only handle so much) I needed a bigger hard drive so I could burn my games directly to it because the game I play more than anything was having troubles that were known to be common but were easily fixed my installing it to the hard drive. Anyway, now I have all my games installed and they run SO smoothly and the system runs whisper quiet and barely even warms up. Love the new black look, love the big hard drive, love the feel of brand baby new in my hands. I'm so pumped out of my mind it hurts to think about it!

Table Time

So one of Ryler's favorite parts of his new room is his Cars card table and chairs. He's found a number of uses for it but none brings him as much joy as climbing to the top and just standing there. Hahaha, you gotta love this kid!

Ryler's Rockin' New Room!

So the biggest and best thing that came out of this year's Christmas is Ryler's new room! Making way for the new baby it was time to get Ryler set up with some big boy gear. Everyone played a part in putting together this masterpiece. Thanks to great grandparents and their generosity Ryler looks like he just won an extreme room makeover challenge. We had so much fun putting up all his new stuff and assembling his new toys. And Ryler was just beside himself with excitement. It's become his favorite place in the house. He can just play all day in there. Now we'll have to start working on getting him to sleep in there ;)

Merry Christmas... Bah Humbug!

What a Christmas. One for the journal, or blog as it were. Might go down as the worst Christmas in history! Poor Ryler had strep throat and an ear infection, then on Christmas Eve he had an allergic reaction to his medications and had to be taken to urgent care (shown here). He was pretty much miserable the whole weekend and we just felt so bad for him. But the best was yet to come. Christmas afternoon Mindy started feeling sick. She ended up throwing up for 12 straight hours on 10 minute intervals! It was unlike anything I've ever seen. I mean she couldn't keep a sip of water down for more than 30 seconds! Not fun :( Turns out her dad was hit with the same thing, as well as my dad, my brother, and my mom. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

New Baby Gummy Bear

Well the big news has been out for a little bit but this is our first glimpse of the little guy or girl. For anyone who doesn't know, Mindy is pregnant!! We are SO excited! We told everyone on Thanksgiving and have just been getting ready ever since. Can't wait for another addition to the Bingham family.

Wow!

So we set up Christmas and it looks beautiful as always. The best part is Ryler can't even walk by the tree without sitting down and staring at it with his mouth wide open going WOOOOWWW! It's the cutest thing you've ever seen.
