All In A Night's Work

Boy is it the weekend or what? What started out as a simple trip to the store turned into a shake-run and then a dollar menu dash followed by a last second mozzarella stick craving! By the time we got home we forgot we went grocery shopping!

My Bro

Just another Saturday morning hangin' with my boys. They're getting more fun by the minute. Ryler can't wait til Krew can really play with him.

Gaming Update

So there's a lot going on in my own little personal world of gaming. But I'd rather spend my limited time playing rather than writing about it. But briefly reviewed: Halo Reach is insane! Just sick silly awesome! First round of DLC is well worth the pick up too. Probably three of the top five maps for the game. Black Ops is nasty fun and replayability is pretty much unlimited. Trials HD came out with a hugenormous DLC pack called Big Thrills, and it's pretty much just that. Freaking love that game! Best use of MS points I've ever made. I'm super bumed that my all time favorite franchise has pushed the release date for Gears of War 3 back until November of NEXT YEAR! Somebody chainsaw me! But in the meantime I've talked myself into loving Kinect as a way to get the family involved and possibly some day approving of my gaming ways. It's on my secret wish list for Christmas so we'll see what Santa brings. Until then it's Game On!

Distractions

Lately I've gotten better at distracting Krew from his normal fussing routine until Mom can come to his rescue. It's fun for me and buys me some valuable play time.

Rock Star!

Could a 2 year old be any more hard core cool? In a word, no.

Thanksgiving Drive

Headed to Logan for the Hunsaker family Thanksgiving. Nearly 100 people in attendance. From sushi to rock climbing to service projects there's truly nothing like our Thanksgiving celebrations. This was one for the record books, and Krew's first!

Mr Giggles

Me and Krew are getting along much better now. I think he's forgiven me for whatever I did to make him treat me that way. Hahaha, now all the kid does is laugh and smile and make the cutest noises. The pink bumbo was donated by the way. We're not trying to covert him to my pink loving ways.... Yet

So Far So Good

Took Ryler and Krew to church by myself today and Krew was perfect and Ryler was a champ too! What a blessing.

Soon Enough

Soon these guys will be sharing a room and hanging like this all the time. Probably my favorite part of being a kid was sharing a room with my brother Sean. I'm so excited these guys will have the same opportunity!

The First Gift of Christmas

So this totally kicks a bell or pajamas' butt! Mindy couldn't wait til Christmas to give me this one so it's an early gift. I love it for obvious reasons but it's serious sick cool! Thank you Santa's little impatient helper :)

Mama's Boy

Krew truly is a Momma's boy through and through. He can go from screaming to calm if she just walks in the room. Kinda cool they're tight like that. Makes it hard when Mom's not around though cause Dad just doesn't cut it!

Can't Get Enough

Seriously can't take enough of these "precious moment" pictures. This is what makes having a family so great. I'm sure we'll miss these moments when these guys grow up and start punching each other instead of hugging.

Busted Buddy

Maybe if Ryler didn't run at full speed while jumping up and down and spinning in circles 18 hours out of every day there would be less of these incidents. Took him about 3 minutes to get over it and was back climbing the walls and jumping off couches in no time!

Home At Last

After a full week of no naps and going to bed at 1am I think Ryler was happy to have his bed back and get back on his regular routine. It took him about 4 seconds to climb into bed and fall asleep.

Road Trips

Mommy loves long road trips. Just ask her. This was probably the only few minutes of peace we had but I loved every minute of it. Real life family vacation stuff ;)

Eat and Sleep

That's the life of an overweight 2 month old. Time to start doing some exercises buddy.

Too Much Fun

I think the boys had about as much fun as they could at Disneyland! We all did. But especially Turin ;) I think Ryler fell asleep mid-sentence on my face in the middle of the big World of Color show. What a great and amazing day thanks to Disneyland Dad himself!

Dude, You're Huge!

Krew weighed in at 15lbs at his 2 month appointment! Dude, are you serious?! He's wearing 6 months clothes! This kid is gonna eat us out of house and home someday.

Still Got It!

So you may be wondering what a 32 year old married father of 3 is doing taking pictures of himself in the bathroom mirror. Well to you I would say, good question! It's now been one full year since I hit my lowest weight in my weight loss journey. A year later and I'm still hanging in there. A year and a half now since I started my lifestyle transformation. The most impressive thing to me though is more than just losing the weight, because a lot of people are able to do that but then quickly put it back on faster than it took them to lose it. I am so grateful that I've been able to maintain my new lifestyle and keep my weight and overall health in check. Some days it's easy and there are many that I just want to say forget it and eat a whole package of double stuffed oreos! But however I've been able to stay with it the results have been a leaner, healthier, happier, more energetic me!

The APX Salad

Ok this thing is ridiculous and I can't seem to quit it! I've honestly had this salad every day since I started here! Despite a menu that changes literally daily, I find myself coming back to the APX salad every time! I'll mix up what goes in it from time to time but the basics are the same. Candied walnuts, cranberries, blue cheese crumbles, roasted chicken breast, balsamic dressing, all hand tossed to my specifications. Really can't beat it. Even on Sushi Tuesday and I love sushi!

My New Home

My current place of employment could be summed up in one word... Sick! Welcome to APX where nothing is too ridiculous. Private Nitro Circus company party in our own front yard with Travis Pastrana and crew dropping in from the sky?... Done. Free lunch and breakfast from a 5 star catering service EVERY DAY?... Done. Free ice cream Wednesdays and Fridays?... Done. What about "Free Candy Friday"? Done! Seriously, the place is insane. The kinda place anyone would want to work.

First Date

Ryler took the Wilkinson girl out for his first date. She was nice enough to let him drive her car. I think it's because her dad wasn't comfortable with him picking her up on his Harley.

Start Your Engines!

We went to the Pizza Factory and had a blast. I was so excited that Ryler was tall enough to ride in the go-karts with me. He was in absolute heaven racing around the track at full speed! Every time we passed Mindy and her family he would yell HI! We had so much fun.
